Silicon Power BOLT B80 1TB Portable SSD Reviewed at Funky Kit

Our sister site have published a review of the Silicon Power BOLT B80 1TB Portable SSD.  Read the full review on our sister site at Funky Kit.

Silicon Power BOLT B80 is one of the more interesting external drives on our market. It delivers high performance and security for our data. Of course, we can’t count to keep the drive underwater or drop it from a couple of floors, but under more standard conditions, we are sure that our data will be safe.

Except for the performance or data safety, for sure, the most appealing is the design. The BOLT B80 is small, light and catches the eye with the unique design. Not many external drives are so small, and even less are round.

The BOLT B75 Pro is available in capacities between 120GB and 1TB. Tested by us 1TB version seems optimal for most users nowadays, but of course, it’s a personal preference.

Silicon Power offers a three-year warranty on the BOLT series drives. It’s more than most competitive drives have, so it’s one more advantage.

I couldn’t find a 1TB version of the BOLT B80 in any popular online store, but the price should be close to that of the Silicon Power BOLT B75 Pro 1TB SSD so around $130. I think it’s a reasonable price for this drive and can be even inexpensive when we consider all the advantages – https://amzn.to/2ZSvIqZ

Final words:

The BOLT B80 is another amazing portable SSD from Silicon Power. It has an original design, it’s also small and light, and offers high performance and good data security. Pretty much everything we could expect of a portable SSD.
