AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT will Feature 335W TBP and 18Gbps Memory

The Radeon RX 6950XT will come with a 2310 MHz boost, 335W TBP and 18Gbps of GDDR6 Memory.

Taken from Videocardz … AMD is now set to launch its Radeon RX 6x50XT series next week. This means that some information is already available to the press. In this case, one of the missing pieces of information was the power consumption.

According to the information shared by Wccftech, the RX 6x50XT series will have 20 to 35W higher TBP. The rumors about RX 6950XT shipping with 350W power were untrue, instead the card will have 335W TBP, which is 35W over the RX 6900XT model and 5W higher than 6900XT Liquid Edition. This means that board partners should have no problem adopting their high-end triple-fan as well as liquid-cooled series for the new model.

The card will ship with 2100 MHz game clock and 2310 MHz boost clock, this represents an increase of 85 MHz and 60 MHz respectively.

The flagship RX 6950XT SKU is supposedly going to ship with 1728.2 GB/s of effective memory bandwidth. This number includes the full effective bandwidth with Infinity Cache. For RX 6900XT this number was 1664 GB/s, thus the bandwidth increase is 64 GB/s. Such increase is a result of higher memory speed of 18 Gbps (+ 2Gbps).
