Origami-inspired 3D platformer Hirogami Steam Demo Launched – New Trailer Released

Origami adventure Hirogami has launched its first playable demo on Steam, announced first in today’s Future Games Show Summer Showcase. Developed by Bandai Namco Studios Singapore and published by Kakehashi Games, Hirogami launches for PlayStation 5 and PC on September 3, 2025. First announced for PC in 2024, and revealed for PlayStation 5 on this week’s State of Play, Hirogami is playable today in an exclusive Steam demo available ahead of Steam Next Fest.

The new trailer reveals a first look at Hirogami’s more challenging gameplay, featuring high-stakes platforming, formidable boss battles, and a peek into the rich narrative that ties everything together.
Players can experience the action themselves in Hirogami’s Steam demo, which will be available from today and throughout Steam Next Fest from 9-16 June.

About Hirogami
In Hirogami, players will assume the role of Hiro, a brave warrior defending their fragile world from digital invaders known as “the Blight”. Armed with the ancient art of folding, Hiro harnesses the power of origami animal forms to crash, smash, leap, roll, and soar through platforming puzzles, defeat foes, and – with your help – save their tranquil homeland of Shishiki Village.

Roll through obstacles and enemies alike as a hardy Armadillo, traverse the treetops and pound pests as a mighty Ape, and leap to previously unreachable heights as a formidable Frog.

The excitement unfolds when Hirogami launches for PlayStation 5 and PC on September 3, 2025. Wishlist on Steam, or pre-order on the PlayStation Store today.
