AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 3995WX Pictured

Rumored to support 8-channel DDR4

All guns blazing for AMD … they’re just released the 3000XT series (a refresh of the Matisse) and now we’ll be seeing the Threadripper PRO 3995WX soon. Drool ***

Taken from Videocardz … Just hours ago we teased an anonymous tip we received regarding a possible launch of AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO series next week. It appears that the samples of such series do exist and they have already been posted on Chiphell. The popular Chinese forums have restricted access to the photograph, but HXL made a copy.

What the tip we received has said is that AMD would introduce a new PRO series for the Threadripper platform. The idea behind the PRO workstation series is quite simple, it will mirror the Ryzen PRO offer for AM4 socket. However, the TR PRO series will also have other features.

AMD Threadripper PRO is said to feature 8-channel memory and up to 2TB of capacity. For comparison, consumer Threadripper series are 4-channel only and they support up to 256GB.

We might finally see the sWRX8 socket coming to the market, it was rumored to feature such configuration more than a year ago.

The Threadripper PRO series would allegedly launch on July 14th, which is exactly a week after Ryzen 3000XT series.
