ASRock Radeon RX 6800 XT Taichi Spotted

And it looks sexy AF! I love the design of the Taichi series of products from ASRock. Fingers crossed the Radeon RX 6800 series won’t scalped … I expect the prices could reach as high as $700-800.

Taken from Videocardz … The ASRock Taichi graphics card based on RDNA2 architecture will receive a bit darker color scheme. The beige/silver parts will be replaced by dark grey, almost brown metal parts. The design is quite thick, we are looking at a 2.5-slot cooler with a new fan blade design.

ASRock’s custom Radeon RX 6800 XT features a dual-BIOS switch with P and Q-settings (preassembly performance and quiet profiles). There is also a secondary DIP switch to turns the RGB lighting off. AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT features 4608 Stream Processors and 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The graphics card is based upon AMD latest RDNA2 architecture.

A unique feature of 6800X Taichi is definitely the power connector configuration. The ASRock RX 6800 XT Taichi comes with three 8-pin power connectors. In fact, this is currently the only known Big Navi graphics card with such a configuration. Another distinctive feature is the USB Type-C display connector.

ASRock Radeon RX 6800 XT Taichi is expected to launch later this month. The graphics card will carry a premium price tag over AMD’s 649 USD suggested retail price of the reference model.
