AMD Radeon RX 6500XT Launching Mid-January 2022

With Radeon RX 6400 expected in March 2022.

Team RED is going for the kill … to dominate the budget market.

Taken from Videocardz … A leaker has claimed the  Radeon RX 6500 XT is set to launch in mid-January. While this date is nowhere near accurate, it is still better than what we originally reported in the first actual news story on these cards (we only reported on Q1 2022). The leaker further claims cut-down Radeon RX 6400 card is also coming in the first quarter, but roughly two months after the RX 6500 XT, which is March.

As we have already revealed, both cards are to feature Navi 24 GPU, a processor that has not yet been used by AMD in any product. This is an entry-level GPU with up to 1024 Stream Processors and a 128-bit memory bus. The RX 6500 XT should be using the full implementation of this GPU, while RX 6400 will be a cut-down variant with 768 cores.
